Hands-on printmaking workshops designed for all levels, with or without printmaking or art background. Each class is limited to 6 people, which offers individual instruction.

Discover a unique printmaking process Monotype / Monoprint, which incorporates printmaking, painting, drawing and collage. We will explore direct application of pigment, subtractive, drawing and stencil printing. The spontaneity of the process opens the possibilities for creative freedom, personal expression and fun! Most participants create between 5 and 10 prints in one workshop.

Monotypes and Monoprints are an excellent way to build a portfolio of personal artwork, they can be used for graphic design projects, (posters, books and CD covers, notecards etc.) and a great idea for hand made gifts.

Instructor Linda Shelp
Mixed media artist, moved to Sonoma County from Los Angeles 13 years ago, originally from Kansas City, Missouri. Received BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute. Worked on ground- breaking museum piece “The Dinner Party” with artist Judy Chicago. Currently working in mixed media printmaking, collage, Photoshop and digital photography. Teaches monthly SoulCollage® workshops, in addition to monthly Monotype/ Monoprint workshops.
